I have spent 35 years endeavouring to capture the soul of my country through art. my work ranged from watercolours of rural villages, late night charcoal portraits in city streets, urban landscape sketches and Oil paintings of prime Ministers. My time spent among the various communites has allowed me
to learn much about the human condition which I try to interpret through my work.

Some use Art as a means to gain recognition and prestige. Others believe it is a road to wealth. For me these material benefits are of little importance. The essence of my art encompasses love of my country, its people and our culture.

For the first time in many years, I am now creating my Art at home. I live in a village on the outskirts of Kuala Lumpur. These days I feel at ease with my work. My brush flows more freely as I listen and enjoy the songs of the birds whistling in the shady trees. Now I am at peace with my Art and myself
